As many of you know, we have a tradition of starting the EHS FH season with MIDNIGHT MADNESS.

We are still determining whether we have enough players to support a Midnight Madness practice this year. PLEASE read the description of Midb=night Madness presented below and then complete this quick survey

EHS FH players & families literally arrive at EHS stadium at 11:45pm on Sunday 8/18. We begin our first practice of the season 16min later at 12:01am on Sunday 8/19— the first minute of the first day of preseason. This is an athletic department-sanctioned event and a long-time tradition within the EHS FH program. The Athletic Director Mr. Crocetti attends each year as does Coach Adams. Our participation numbers in Midnight Madness have diminished in recent years. That is why I made a rule this season that we need at least 22 registered and “approved-to-play-by-school-nurse” participants in order to proceed with Midnight Madness this year. In previous years we have had well over 30 participants and it was a great bonding experience for the team (and a lot of fun for the parents, families and alum who attended). If our players can determine that we have 22 players ready and excited to attend Midnight Madness this year, we will proceed with the tradition. If not, our first FH practice of the season will be 7:30am-12noon on Monday 8/19.

EHS FH official preseason practices start @12:01am on Monday 8/19 for our traditional EHS FH Midnight Madness practice. This first-practice-of-the-season will run 12:01am - 1:15am. This is a school-sanctioned event. East Irondequoit Security and the Athletic Director will be present. If you cannot attend Midnight Madness, but still plan on playing EHS FH, please let me know ASAP.

Thx, Coach Fischer

  7. 7)  NOTE: If it is raining moderately on the night of Midnight Madness, we will proceed with the practice as planned. If it is raining heavily or there are thunderstorms, Midnight Madness will be canceled.
