Smaller or larger bags will not be accepted.
While our primary focus for this collection is soft goods, we will — on July 11 ONLY — also be accepting small household “hard goods” as listed below. Be sure to follow the boxing instructions for hard goods:
Small Household Goods (non-cloth items):
Gently used kitchen items (such as pots/pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, serving pieces and hand-held appliances), home decorative items, knick-knacks, toys, games, office items and small electronics.
These items should be placed in medium-sized cardboard boxes, such as a copier paper box or a typical medium-sized Amazon box.
Boxes should not be overflowing or too heavy (we need to be able to stack them)
Please label these boxes “household goods”
Books & Media (NOTE: We CANNOT accept encyclopedias or text books):
Gently used books (paperback, hard cover, all genres), magazines, DVDs, CDs, albums, cassette tapes, video games.
These items should be boxed separately from any small household goods you may be donating. In other words, all books and media should be placed in their own medium-sized cardboard box, such as a copier paper box or a typical medium-sized Amazon box.
Boxes should not be overflowing or too heavy (we need to be able to stack them)
Please label these boxes “books & media”
