Hello EIMS Parents of 7th & 8th Grade Girls! My name is Trish Fischer and I am the varsity field hockey coach at Eastridge High School. I am also an assistant to Coach Linda Adams for the EIMS modified field hockey team.
I am reaching out to you today because our 2022 modified field hockey team still has a few openings left for the spring field hockey season. We would love for your daughter to consider joining our team! You can easily sign up at

Coach Adams and her 2017 EIMS modified field hockey team.
Coach Adams and I are personally inviting your daughter (and you) to give the EIMS modified field hockey team a try this spring.
After school practices start on Monday April 4.
Our first scrimmage is on April 26
Our last game is on June 1
We practice at EHS and our home games are also played at EHS.
Practices and games both take place on EHS stadium turf.
Practices will end at 5pm at the high school. There is a 5:15 late bus for athletes OR parents should arrange pickup of athletes at the EHS stadium bus loop by 5:15.
Game days run a bit later with player pick-up usually between 6-6:30pm. (some game times may be a bit later)
We can provide any field hockey equipment your daughter needs!
No experience necessary!!
We will happily teach your daughter everything she needs to know to play the awesome sport of field hockey.

If your daughter chooses to give EIMS modified field hockey a try, she will be coached by one of the most successful coaches in EHS history.
Each spring I volunteer to assist our amazing Coach Adams with the modified field hockey team for two reasons:
1) It is helpful to both the players and the high school coaching staff that we get to know each other before the 7th and 8th graders get to the high school;
and 2) I greatly enjoy every day that I get to coach with (and learn from) our much-loved Coach Adams.
Coach Adams has been coaching Lancer Field Hockey for 50+ years! As EHS varsity field hockey coach 1969-2008, Coach Adams earned the distinction of being the winningest coach in EHS history (a record she still holds today!). Coach Adams is an expert in teaching the fundamentals of field hockey to girls of all ages and abilities… AND she makes it FUN! We are very fortunate to have someone of Coach Adams’ stature heading up our EIMS modified field hockey program!

Simply click on the button below to access photos, videos, player & parent testimonials, and much more that will quickly communicate to you what makes our Lancer field hockey programs different and greatly valued by both players and parents.

P.S. Last year we asked our EIMS modified field hockey players to summarize why they thought joining the field hockey team is a great option. Here is what they had to say:
TOP FIVE REASONS WHY EIMS MODIFIED FIELD HOCKEY IS A GREAT TEAM EXPERIENCE
List created by the 2021 EIMS Modified Field Hockey Players
NO CUTS!! Everyone who wants to play, gets to play.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Most kids on the team have never played field hockey (and many have never played any sport)
EQUIPMENT PROVIDED. No worries about having to go out and buy equipment. Coach Adams can provide everything you need to play.
IT IS EASY TO LEARN TO PLAY FIELD HOCKEY. Coach Adams makes it easy and fun to learn how to play!
THE LAST PRACTICE OF THE SEASON IS A “MAKE-YOUR-OWN ICE CREAM SUNDAE” DAY. This is a Coach Adams tradition. It is always a practice filled with laughter, fun games and LOTS of ice cream!!
