It is a simple concept
We are collecting donations of used clothing and “soft home goods” in partnership with the Savers Store in Webster.
Lancer Field Hockey gets paid by the pound for what we deliver to Savers.
Most important, we all work together to keep reusable items out of landfills!
It is easy for our FH families to participate
NO selling anything!
NO asking for money!
It is easy to communicate & promote to others
We have provided you with images and suggested wording to promote this item among family and friends via text, social media and email (see below)
It is easy to for our team to manage
Just three drop-off dates at EHS
We store donations in the stadium storage area
On the last date (Sat 7/11), we deliver all donations to the Savers Store in Webster
It is good for the environment
We are working with Savers to keep reusable clothing and home goods out of landfills!
WHY WE NEED THIS FUNDRAISER TO BE A SUCCESS
Our field hockey fundraising account needs to be replenished in order for our program to continue to provide the materials and financial support we have provided to players over the years. We use our FH fundraising account for SO MANY different things, including:
PLAYER EQUIPMENT: Every year Lancer FH purchases extra equipment for players in need. This is includes, FH sticks, shin guards, mouth guards, gently used turf shoes and cleats, cold weather gloves, etc
TEAM BACKPACKS & WATER BOTTLES: Every year, Lancer FH purchases Harrow FH backpacks for all new Varsity & JV players at EHS. We also purchase FH string bags for EIMS modified FH players. For players in need, we also provide team water bottles.
TEAM APPAREL: Every year, Lancer FH gives all high school and middle school players a new team t-shirt. Players who participate in summer league also get a Lancer reversible pinnie that is required for the summer FH games.
TEAM SNACKS & ELECTROLYTE PACKETS. Every summer, Lancer FH makes snacks available to players during our break between the turf workout and the indoor strength workout. We also make available electrolyte packets that players can add to their water bottles on hot days.
REIMBURSE PLAYER EXPENSES SUMMR/WINTER FH LEAGUE. Every year, Lancer FH reimburses 1/2 of the registration fee to families of players who participate in Summer/Winter FH leagues.
SENIOR NIGHT & POST-SEASON FH PARTY. Our fundraising account covers all costs for both Senior Night and our post-season FH party.
As a program, Lancer Field Hockey needs to earn $4,000 this summer to be able to continue with the items listed above. The “soft goods” FUNDdrive” could earn us 25% to 50% of that amount — IF we all work together to promote it!

DONATE! Donate your own unwanted gently used “soft” home goods on our drop-off dates at the EHS parking lot (Mon 6/15, Sun 6/28 and Sat 7/11)

We have 3 drop-off dates at the Eastridge HS parking lot:
Monday June 15 from 1-4pm
Sunday June 28 from 8:30-11:30am
Saturday July 11 from 8:30-11:30am
Simply place your donations in either a 13-gallon tall kitchen bag or a 33-gallon yard waste trash bag.
Drop off your bagged items at the Eastridge parking lot (near the stadium) on one of the dates listed above.
Lancer field hockey does the rest.
It really is that simple!
