We continue to practice Tuesday and Wednesday this week and play game #2 on Thursday 10/30. If we do not win game #1, we are done for the season. Sectional finals are on Monday 11/3.

We want to congratulate our JV team on a competitive season in which they showed steady improvement and displayed great teammwork and sportsmanship! We thank our wonderful JV leadership — Coach Posella and Coach Evans — for making the JV experience positive, happy and productive for all who were involved.

A special thanks also to Coach Clare, our outstanding goalkeeper coach. Her knowledge, attention to detail and positive teaching methods helped all of our goalkeepers improve and deliver strong games throughout this season.

It is an EHS FH tradition to create a fun video for our postseason party (which will take place in the EHS cafeteria at the end of November or beginning of December).

In order to make this video representative of both V and JV and ALL players, we ask that BOTH players and parents upload any EHS FH-related photos or video clips taken between January - November 2025. We have two specific requests this year:

1) We are looking for general EHS FH-related photos and video clips from games, practices, bus rides, special FH events, candid photos among teammates, etc. Silly photos and video clips are encouraged. Please upload your photos and video clips ASAP to the link below.

2) To help us celebrate our entire EHS FH family, we have a special request this year. We would like each V and JV player to wear one of their EHS FH-apparel items and take a photo with your parents and any other family members you wish to include. We would like ALL V and JV players to upload this type of family photo ASAP to the link below.

UPLOADING IS EASY!

We Raised More Than $1,100!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. As part of our Lancer Field Hockey Cares initiative, EHS JV field Hockey Coaches Posella and Evans took the lead in organizing a Lancer Field Hockey fundraiser to benefit The Willow Domestic Violence Center. Through online donations as well as selling donuts (donated by Donuts Delite) and having a gift basket raffle during our FH games on 10/16, the team succeeded in raising more than $1,100 to benefit Willow. Lancer Field Hockey is a long-time supporter of The Willow Domestic Violence Center, having raised well over $7,000 for the organization since 2014.

Thank you EHS FH players, families, coaches, as well as friends & alum of EHS FH, for supporting our community service efforts!!

SPOOKY Team Gatherings and Practices

The JV FH team (along with a few varsity players) took part in a “spooky practice” last Friday. Organized by Coach Posella, Coach Clare and Coach Evans, players (and coaches) wore costumes and enjoyed silly photos and treat bags at the end of practice. Thank you Coaches!!
