Day 1 - Monday 8/18

7:30 Dynamic warmup

7:45 OBSERVABLE/MEASURABLE

Timed mile run

8:30 DAY 1 CONCEPTS (presented to players 1 week prior and quickly reviewed Day 1 after mile run)

3-4-3 overview

Positions (for both diamind and also 4 across at mid…. benefits of each formation)

Attack & defense roles & responsibilities for each position

9:00 PRACTICE

Skeleton Drill - Basic attack passing patterns (including outletting for transitions to attack)

9:30 SCRIMMAGE!

10:00 Clean up turf and then break indoors

10:30 Strength workout and/or chalk talk (chalk talk would review concepts from Day 1 and preview concepts of r Day 2)

11:30 Parent pickup

Day 2 - Tuesday 8/19

Defense & Offense Corners - evaluate all players

9:30 SCRIMMAGE!

Tight whistle

Correct 3-4-3 formation errors (players need to start seeing triangles and support structure of 3-4-3)

Correct passing pattern errors

Correct outletting errors

Help players recogize pressing opporunities

Help players recognize attack tranision opportunities

Encourage urgency and fast self-starts

Encourage good communication

No corners

10:00 Clean up turf and then break indoors
