Grades 3-4-5 “Learn-To-Play” Indoor Field Hockey
Where: Laurleton-Pardee Gym (use south entrance adjacent to sledding hills)
When: 1:30-3pm (players can arrive anytime between 1:10-1:30pm… plan pickup by 3:15)
Parents:
A parent needs to walk their player into the school building and stay until the player is checked in
Parents are welcome to stay for the full session (there are chairs in the gym) OR you can drop off your player and pickup by 3:15
A parent needs to make sure their player is checked out before leaving the building
What to bring: water bottle (EHS FH will provide FH equipment)
What to wear: comfortable workout clothes, SNEAKERS for gym floor

Fun, no-pressure “ice-breaker” games to help EHS/EIMS and grades 3-4-5 players to get to know each other
Review the dynamic warmup routine that EHS/EIMS players use
Quick review how to hold a FH stick… how to pass the ball… how to stop the ball… how to move with the ball…
MORE playing field hockey games in the gym!
Introduce stick skills cones in the hallway
