THE “Declutter BETTER!” CONCEPT

Our Declutter BETTER! event provides a simple, convenient and centralized way to donate your unwanted gently used clothing, shoes, handbags, coats, scarves, backpacks, linens, towels, curtains and other types of unwanted gently used “soft goods” you have around your house.

GOOD FOR LANCER FIELD HOCKEY
In return for the collecting, organizing and logistics work we do, Lancer Field Hockey is paid by SAVERS per pound for the gently used items we deliver to them.

We all work together to help to keep perfectly reusable items out of landfills.

70% will help pay for Lancer Field Hockey program expenses
This can include equipment, fees for player training opportunities, player team backpacks and apparel. East Irondequoit field hockey players in grades 3-12 will benefit from the funds raised.

20% will be donated to The Willow Domestic Violence Center
Lancer Field Hockey is a long-time fundraiser for Willow, generating well-over $6,000 for the organization since 2013.

10% will help fund the “Coach Linda Adams Field Hockey IMPACT Award” scholarship
This is an annual Eastridge Athletic Department scholarship created in 2026 to honor the legacy of Coach Adams, who was a popular teacher and exceptionally successful coach in East Irondequoit for more than 50 years. Coach Adams is a valued mentor to Lancer field hockey coaches and players, and she continues to be our most loyal fan!
